Connect Canva
On your brand's Designs page, click Connect Canva and approve access in Canva. You do it once per brand.

Import a design
In the post composer, choose Import from Canva and pick a design. Every page comes in, up to 10.

Add your caption, choose your platforms and a time. Several pages go out as a carousel wherever the platform supports one.

Every page, straight into a post
Import from Canva in the post composer and each page of the design is attached to the post, in order. Several pages become a carousel on platforms that support one. A longer design brings in its first 10 pages.
Saved to your library for next time
Every imported page is also kept in your brand's media library, ready to reuse in another post. You can import from Canva in the Library too, and the pages land in the folder you have open.

New from Canva turns a design's first page into a Brandlyre design. Type a fresh headline and date for each post and Brandlyre draws the text in code, so it is never misspelled.
At the size you designed it
Pages arrive at the design's own dimensions: JPEG for posts, PNG for design backgrounds. Nothing is stretched, cropped or upscaled on the way in.
Your Canva account stays yours
Brandlyre only reads what it needs to import a design, and only when you ask it to.
Read-only access
Brandlyre asks Canva for three permissions: see your designs, export their pages, and read your profile name. That is the whole list.
Nothing is written to Canva
Brandlyre never creates, edits or deletes anything in your Canva account. Your designs stay exactly as you left them.
Imports happen when you ask
An import is a copy taken at that moment. Nothing syncs in the background; when you change a design, import it again or press Update on its Brandlyre design.
Disconnecting revokes access
Disconnect from the Designs page and Brandlyre revokes its access on Canva's side, not just in Brandlyre. Pages you already imported stay in your library.
Questions about the Canva integration
Why did my design come in as a blank page?
Canva exports an animated page at its first frame, before anything has animated in, so the export comes out blank. Brandlyre spots this and stops the import instead of adding white images to your post. In Canva, set Animate to None on those pages, then import again.
How many pages can I import at once?
Up to 10 pages from one design. A longer design brings in its first 10; split it into separate designs in Canva if you need the rest.
Do I need a paid Canva plan?
No. Brandlyre exports each page at the size you designed it, which does not need a paid Canva plan. It never asks Canva to upscale.
Can Brandlyre change my Canva designs?
No. The connection is read-only: Brandlyre can list your designs and export their pages, and nothing else. It never creates, edits or deletes anything in your Canva account.
If I edit a design in Canva, does my post update?
No. An import is a copy taken when you import, and nothing syncs on its own. Import the design again to use the new version. For a Brandlyre design built from Canva, Update fetches the latest version and keeps your text areas where they are.
Does importing cost credits?
Importing is free. Like any image added to your library, each imported page gets an automatic AI description so you can search for it later, which costs 1 credit per page. You start with 100 free credits, and if you run out the page still imports, just without a description.
Which platforms can I post my designs to?
Any platform you have connected to your brand in Brandlyre. A single page posts as an image; several pages post as a carousel wherever the platform supports one.
How do I disconnect Canva?
On your brand's Designs page, choose Disconnect. Brandlyre revokes its access on Canva's side too. Pages you already imported stay in your library.
