Overview

What connecting Claude to Brandlyre does

Claude writes well, but on its own it knows nothing about your brand and has nowhere to put what it writes. Connected to Brandlyre, it can read your brand profile (voice, audience, products), look at your recent posts so it does not repeat them, and check which accounts you have connected. Ask it for next week's posts in plain words, and the drafts appear in your Brandlyre calendar, each one waiting for your approval. Brandlyre is a remote MCP server: Claude, Claude Desktop and Claude Code can all connect to it, and you stay in charge of what gets published.

Conversation

Plan your week in a chat

Tell Claude what is coming up: a launch, an event, a quiet month. It drafts posts that fit your brand and your connected channels, and you refine them by talking.

Approval

Drafts, never surprises

Everything Claude creates over a connector arrives as a draft waiting for approval. The tools that schedule or publish are not even visible to it.

Calendar

It sees what is already planned

Claude can read your calendar and recent posts before it writes, so it fills gaps instead of doubling up on Tuesday.

How it works

Three steps to drafting with Claude

  1. 1

    Add Brandlyre to Claude

Add Brandlyre as a custom connector and authorise it in your browser.

  2. 2

    Ask for posts

Describe what you need. Claude reads your brand first.

  3. 3

    Approve in Brandlyre

Review the drafts and schedule the ones you like.

What you can post

What Claude can do in Brandlyre

Over a connector, Claude reads and drafts. Publishing stays with you.

Format Details
Read your brand Voice, audience, products and the posts you published recently.
Draft posts For the channels you have connected, with copy written for each.
Use your library Attach images you have already uploaded to Brandlyre.
Edit drafts Change a draft it created when you ask it to.

What you need

  • A Brandlyre account with at least one brand.
  • A version of Claude that supports custom MCP connectors, or Claude Code.

Not supported yet

  • Publishing or scheduling over a connector. That takes a publish-level token you create yourself, for terminal tools such as Claude Code.

Tips

Tips for working with Claude

01

Give it the occasion

"Three posts for our open day on Saturday, one each for Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn" gets better drafts than "write some posts".

02

Let it read first

Ask Claude to look at your recent posts before drafting, so the new ones follow on rather than repeat.

03

Edit by conversation

If a draft is close, tell Claude what to change. It updates the draft in Brandlyre, and your approval queue stays tidy.

04

Keep the final say

Read every draft once before approving. It takes a minute, and it is your name on the post.

FAQ

Claude and Brandlyre: your questions

Can Claude post to my social media accounts?

Not on its own. Over a connector, Claude can read your brand and create drafts, and every draft waits for your approval in Brandlyre. Only a publish-level token you deliberately create yourself can schedule or publish.

Which Claude apps work with Brandlyre?

Any that support remote MCP connectors, including Claude, Claude Desktop and Claude Code. Your Claude plan must allow custom connectors; check Anthropic's documentation for your plan.

Does it cost Brandlyre credits?

Drafting through Claude does not, because Claude writes the copy. The one exception is an image you upload to your library: its automatic description costs one credit, and you can turn it off per upload.

Is my brand data used to train AI models?

Brandlyre does not train models on your content. Your brand profile, posts and media are used to create your content and nothing else.

How do I disconnect Claude?

Revoke the connection from Connect Claude in your Brandlyre profile, or remove the connector in Claude. Revoking works immediately, and connections also expire on their own after a year.

Do I need to be a developer?

No. Adding the connector means pasting a URL into Claude's settings and clicking a button in your browser. The terminal route is only for Claude Code.
