X is where you say it in one breath. If you already plan posts for other networks, scheduling posts on X (formerly Twitter) with Brandlyre is mostly a matter of ticking one more box. Brandlyre writes a separate, shorter version of the post for X, in your brand voice, so you are not cutting down an Instagram caption by hand. You can add one image, check the text and schedule it. At that time Brandlyre publishes it through X's official API, alongside the same idea on your other channels.

  • Text within 280 characters. Anything longer is cut off with "…" when it publishes, so check the X version before you schedule.

Lead with the news

On X the first words do all the work. Say what happened, what is new or what you think, then add context if there is room.

Go easy on hashtags

One relevant hashtag helps people find a post. Several make it harder to read and use up your 280 characters.

Add a picture when it explains

A chart, a product or a place says more than a sentence about it. Skip the image when it is only decoration.

Be there for replies

X moves fast. Schedule the post for a time you will be around to answer the first replies.

X and Brandlyre: your questions

Can I schedule posts on X for free?

You can start free with 100 credits and no card. Publishing never uses credits. They are spent when Brandlyre's AI writes copy, creates an image or describes a photo you upload.

What happens if my post is longer than 280 characters?

Brandlyre writes the X version to fit, but if you edit it past 280 characters (hashtags count too), the end is cut off with "…" when it publishes. Check the X version before scheduling.

Can I attach more than one image?

Not yet. A post on X carries one image. If a post has several, only the first goes to X.

Can I schedule a thread on X?

Not yet. Each scheduled post goes out as a single post.

If I delete a post in Brandlyre, does it disappear from X?

Yes. Deleting a published post from Brandlyre also deletes it from X.

Is X the same as Twitter?

Yes. Twitter was renamed X, and it works the same way in Brandlyre: you connect your account and schedule posts.
